We take this story with a grain of salt, as last we heard Madonna was hoping to have a baby with her Brazilian boy toy Jesus Luz. But according to the Chicago Sun-Times, the pair have split up, and have been living separately for a while now. "It not only was totally amicable, but it was Luz who initiated the split," writes columnist Bill Zwecker. "Apparently, the 23-year-old Brazilian realized their age difference (she's 51) and overall lack of mutual interests nixed a long-term relationship." The age-difference thing makes sense to us — not because we're worried about Madonna keeping up, but because they have such different worldviews. But "overall lack of mutual interests"? We don't buy that as a reason for a split. As far as we can tell, both of their primary interests are the fame and fortune of Madonna.
