New York’s Oldest Dog Dies at 20 (or 140)

Paco Sosa, an elderly dachshund who has called the Upper East Side home for the past twenty years and five months, died last week. He had been suffering from seizures and neck pain for over a year, and his owner put him down last week after a convulsion left him ready to move on to that great dog run in the sky. Paco celebrated his twentieth birthday last September in style. We’re just bummed he didn’t make it to 21. [NYDN]
