Harvard and Stanford Tuitions Break $50,000

Most top-tier colleges raised their tuition this year, as per usual (and in the face of massive endowment troubles because of the economy), but Harvard and Stanford for the first time crossed a symbolic milestone: For the 2010-2011 academic year, undergraduate tuition and fees will add up to $50,724 at Harvard and $50,576 at Stanford, breaking the $50K barrier.
