Just What Hillary Clinton Needs: Another International Crisis

Secretary of State Hillary Clinton began a six-nation tour of South America today, during which she’ll talk with Argentinian president Cristina Fernandez about her nation’s latest dispute with Britain over the Falkland Islands, which Hillary has offered to help mediate. Yep, forget Iraq, Iran, Israel, Palestine, Afghanistan, Pakistan, North Korea, Haiti, and Chile. What Hillary Clinton needs to be focusing on right now is definitely the Falkland Islands — population 3,000 — which Argentina and Britain have been quarreling over, sometimes violently, for over 150 years.
