Obama Delays His Indonesia Trip Until June

Finally, President Obama has decided to bite the bullet and postpone his official visit to Indonesia and Australia — which he’d already delayed three days to this Sunday — all the way until June. Now he’ll definitely be here for the entirety of the health-care endgame (not counting the interminable court challenges which are likely to follow). Press Secretary Robert Gibbs says Obama has spoken with leaders of both countries, and they understand the importance of Obama being here to get health-care reform passed. We wonder, though, if the people of Indonesia — already lukewarm on Obama for some reason — will be as forgiving.
