The fallout from Voyeurgate has cost a Republican staff member his job, after today’s news that the RNC dropped $2,000 at the West Hollywood bondage club in February. A party spokesman said the staffer was “no longer with the committee” after his “improper request” at the club. The spokesman also emphasized that RNC chairman Michael Steele was not present at Voyeur that night and he “doesn’t find such a location acceptable.” We feel you there, Steele; we wouldn’t have picked a club with an interior resembling “the masked orgy scene from Eyes Wide Shut” either.
