After Wall Street Journal editor Robert Thomson insisted his designers Photoshop an image of New York Times owner Arthur Sulzberger onto a collage of men with so-called feminine faces and then seemingly lied about it to Sulzberger's face (or at least to a reporter), the Observer's John Koblin asked Rupert Murdoch about it. What did the Journal owner think of Sulzberger's reaction to the whole thing? "He should get a life," that's what he thinks. Though the theme of yesterday's evening party at Gotham Hall was competition, with the Times in particular, Murdoch did concede one thing: “You can’t kill the New York Times,” he said. “It’ll be here forever.”
