State Senator Kevin Parker Still Has a Lot of Trouble Remaining Calm

Brooklyn’s Kevin Parker has punched a traffic agent, smashed a photographer’s camera, allegedly pushed an aide, and most recently gotten into an expletive-laden confrontation with his colleagues over Hiram Monserrate. So it’s not shocking that today, after Parker objected to the way a nominee to the Power Authority was being addressed by angrily pounding the table, Democrat Carl Kruger had to threaten to ask him to leave the room. To this, Parker reportedly responded, “Well, you better bring people.” In his defense, Parker says that, from “time to time, we’re all prone to hyperbole.” [Daily Politics/NYDN]
