Another Goldman Sachs Conspiracy Theory

Floated by architecture critic Paul Goldberger in this week’s New Yorker: “Forty-three stories tall and two city blocks long, the Goldman building appears to have been designed in the hope of rendering the company invisible.” Very observant Goldberger! It’s true, right now they must settle for hiding their considerable height and girth through the magic of mirrored glass and minimal signage, but one day, they hope, the guys they’re paying off at NASA will get them all the way to invisible.
