British Water Voles Acting Unusual

During a recent survey of the Kennet & Avon Canal in Berkshire, England, scientists found evidence that water voles, the adorable, furry creatures best known from the character of Ratty in The Wind in the Willows, may be turning from herbivorous to carnivorous. A chilling detail:

At several of the animals' "feeding stations" in the canalside vegetation were numerous dead frogs — with their legs removed.

Good God! Have they also been watching the Saw series? You know what this calls for.
