Tensions between the United States and Venezuela have been high for years. But until last night, never has our testy relationship with our South American adversary seemed so ... beautiful. That's because we've never before heard it expressed in song, as Venezuela president Hugo Chavez did last night during a television and radio address in front of a large, adoring crowd (dress code: red). According to the BBC, Chavez sang the words, "I'm not loved by Hillary Clinton ... and I don't love her either," which is a reference to a "popular song" there. The crowd loved it, and not just because anti-Americanism is like crack to them the man has the voice of a nightingale.
