For the second time this week, by our count, the British press has reported that BP CEO Tony Hayward is stepping down. Today, the BBC said Hayward could be gone as soon as tomorrow. While few are expecting the seafood-eating CEO to stay with the company much longer (and stocks even soared after he was last believed to be exiting), BP is still standing by its man, with spokesman Mark Salt saying: "Tony Hayward remains our chief executive and has the full support of the board and senior management." Updated: Sorry, Salt. Looks like it's real this time.
