Anna Chapman Meets With Vladimir Putin, Sings to Live Music

V.P., sympathetic leader.

Russian Prime Minister Vladimir Putin had a chance to meet with the spies who returned to Mother Russia this month. They just, you know, caught up, made small-talk, he explained: "I met them. We talked about life. We sang, not karaoke, but to live music. We sang From What the Motherland Begins," which is apparently a song about spying. "I'm not joking, I am serious," he said. Anna Chapman and her crew apparently didn't have too much news to report back after ten years spying for Putin, but he had nothing but sing-a-longs and sympathy for them. "I have no doubts they will have interesting, bright lives," he said. Sounds like a fun boss! [NYP]
