Well, you didn't think Ann Coulter could be the publicized guest of honor at something called "HomoCon" without some of her usual cohorts getting jealous, did you? Less than two weeks after the fledgling Log Cabin Republicans ripoff GOProud announced that "the right-wing Judy Garland" (their words) would headline their inaugural party on September 25, Coulter is being dropped from giving the keynote speech at right-wing website WorldNetDaily's "Taking America Back National Conference." Just to make things clear, the site posted an explanation of Coulter's disinvitation! Guess what? It's:
"Because of her plan to address an event titled 'HOMOCON' sponsored by the homosexual Republican group GOProud that promotes same-sex marriage and military service for open homosexuals."
I mean, seriously, who exactly did Coulter think these people wanted to "Take America Back" from in the first place? Coulter responded by saying she talks to groups she disagrees with all the time, including some that "looove abortion." Why, it's almost as if she'll go anywhere and do anything at all, if the price is right!
