Greenwich, Connecticut, Kids Still Totally Bored by Local Nightlife

After Albany shot down a tax on hedge-fund managers who work in New York and live out of state, Connecticut governor Jodi Rell described Greenwich as something of “a tax oasis for New York hedge funders with high-end nightlife.” But its wise, wonderful locals say that “nightlife” scene is more like Hotel California on repeat at empty bars. “It’s a cougar den in there,” said Jackie Calagna, 18, nodding toward a local bar, while “smoking away the hours” on a patio. “Just Greenwich housewives hitting on young guys. It’s the pits. There’s nothing to do here. I can’t wait to leave.” Someday, Jackie! [NYP]
