If the New York Post Had a ‘Weekender’ Commercial


A bunch of comedians have made a parody of the much-maligned New York Times “Weekender” commercials, imagining if the New York Post did the same, playing on the tabloid’s trashiness and apparent appeal to people with very strong regional accents. “It’s the way they surround the story … with OTB results and ads for phone sex.” (It’s not quite as good as the 92nd Street Y “Weekender” parody, but that one starred Paul Rudd, so it’s kind of not fair.)
