At a taping for CBS's Face the Nation, the host asked the House minority leader, who has received $340,000 this cycle from the tobacco industry, how he could justify his smoking habit. He responded that Americans have the "right to decide" whether they want to take stuff that's bad for their health (as long as it's food, alcohol, or cigarettes).
