During last night’s debate for the Arizona governor’s race, incumbent Republican governor Jan Brewer experienced what appeared to be a mental breakdown during her opening statement. It was as if she had no idea that during the course of this debate she would have to discuss what she had accomplished as governor, or why she should be elected for another term. Or maybe she meant to bring some prepared remarks with her and mixed them up with jokes about Ovaltine by mistake. Whatever happened, it’s pretty excruciating to watch.
