People Who Are Too Loyal to Their Jobs

The first thing almost everyone would do if they won $54 million in the lottery, following the psychotic fits of laughter and tears? Quit their jobs. So fast. Maybe if they had an amazing job, like as a whitewater rafting guide or Minka Kelly's personal masseuse, they would stay on because they enjoyed it so much. Maybe. But 34-year-old Garina Fearon, who just won a $54 million Mega Millions jackpot, will stay at her job part-time because she "feels too loyal" to leave. She is a prison guard at Riker's Island, and apparently gets "feces thrown in her face" by the inmates. [NYP]
