Those Looking for a Refund on Wall Street 2 Tickets Need Look No Further Than Jim Chanos

There may not be a clean-cut culprit for the financial crisis, but there is a Wall Street figure we can point to as responsible for Oliver Stone’s convoluted new opus: “In the spring of 2009, Stone presented an early idea of the movie to short-seller James Chanos, the president of Kynikos Associates. According to Chanos, the version revolved around a short-seller who was bumping off CEOs. Chanos says he pressed Stone to abandon the plot and instead tie the script to the financial collapse of 2008.” [Bloomberg BusinessWeek]
