Dancing With the Stars Is the Most Bi-partisan Show on Television

By

The reality show on which "Bristol Palin hopes to fox trot and quick step her way to a disco ball trophy" has the most political ad purchases on prime-time television among both Democratic and Republican media buyers. Other than that, Republican ad buyers favor sports and crime dramas, while Democratic ad buyers are more likely to place ads on sitcoms and The Dr. Oz Show. This sort of makes sense: On one hand, you have Bristol Palin dressed up like a loose liberal, rebelling against her mother; on the other hand, she's Sarah Palin's daughter. The battle for her soul is on. [NYT]
