When we asked Matthew Broderick how he felt about Mayor Bloomberg nominating him to play Steven Rattner in a movie at the opening of La Bête last night, he seemed perplexed. “Which one is Steven Rattner?” he asked. He’s the former auto czar, and right now he’s being fined $6 million by the SEC for doing some bad things, we explained. “Oh, I think I do know who you mean, because other people have told me I look like him,” he said. Really? “Yeah, I’ve heard that,” he said. So would he do it? “Well, a part’s a part, as Chris Walken once said.”
