President Obama will pocket veto the act of vetoing legislation passed by Congress by simply not signing it, which can only be done when Congress is not in session a bill that critics say would have made it harder for homeowners to challenge “improper foreclosure attempts” by banks at a time when shady foreclosure practices have just been brought to light. It was Obama’s second veto so far. Oddly enough, the bill had been rushed through the Senate by Democrat Patrick Leahy without anyone really noticing. [Fox News, Reuters]
