What Constitutes Teenage Rebellion in Staten Island These Days?

By

Staten Island resident Abdel Hameed Shehadeh, who was arrested in Hawaii on Friday, is being charged with making false statements in a terrorism case when he tried to travel to Pakistan in 2008 to join the Taliban. After those plans were thwarted, Shehadeh tried to enlist in the Army through its Times Square recruiting station so he could go to Iraq and defect, and attempted to convince two kids he knew from elementary school to join him.
