Appeals Court Extends Stay on ‘Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell’ Ruling

A three-judge panel of the 9th Circuit Court of Appeals decided yesterday to allow the military to continue its "don't ask, don't tell" policy indefinitely while the government appeals a lower court's ruling that the policy — which bans gay men and women from serving openly in the armed forces — is unconstitutional.
