Caterina Fake, Flickr Co-founder, Leaves New York City Start-up Hunch

Caterina Fake, the serial entrepreneur who co-founded Flickr, signed an agreement to leave her New York City start-up, Hunch, by the end of the year. Hunch helps predict what users will like online. Fake and her co-founder, angel investor Chris Dixon, are both influential players in the city’s growing tech scene. Business Insider says Fake’s departure has to do with a change in the site’s direction away from community-building, consumer-facing skills Fake built at Flickr — and with a strain on her personal relationship with Dixon.
