Harry Reid Will Push for the End of ‘Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell’

The Senate majority leader announced plans to introduce a military policy bill that would get rid of the ban on gays in the military, even though John McCain has promised to stand in the way of (read: filibuster) any attempt. He won't introduce the bill until after December 1, the expected publication date of a long-awaited Pentagon report on the subject. [NYT]
