As many of our regular readers have noticed, nymag.com has become deluged with spam comments in the last couple of months. We do actively monitor and delete these comments, but the spammers have recently become too numerous and relentless for us to keep up with consistently. Trust us, we find this as maddening as you do. The good news is that we’re working on some alterations to our commenting system that we believe will make life much harder for the spammers. We expect to launch these in the next few months, and we’ll let you know when that happens. In the meantime, we apologize and ask you to bear with us just a little while longer. Thanks.
