Senate Numbers Looking Very Good for DADT Repeal

With Republican senators Lisa Murkowski and Olympia Snowe announcing that they were on board with the stand-alone repeal of "don't ask, don't tell" that was passed by the House yesterday, and Scott Brown reaffirming his support today, the bill has a filibuster-proof 61-person majority behind it. Now it's up to Harry Reid to make sure there's a swift and efficient vote on it in the crowded hours before the holiday break. (In other words, don't hold your breath.) [ABC News]
