The GOP-dominated House passed a repeal of last year’s health-care reform legislation this evening, 245–189, on a mostly party-line vote. Every Republican congressman voted to repeal; every Democrat except for three Oklahoma’s Dan Boren, North Carolina’s Mike McIntyre, and Arkansas’s Mike Ross voted against repeal. The bill will now die in the Democratically controlled Senate, as so much legislation passed in the House tends to do. [MSNBC]
