Jets Conditioning Coach Sal Alosi Resigns

New York Jets strength and conditioning coach Sal Alosi has resigned from his role, Jets general manager Mike Tannenbaum announced Monday night. In December, Alosi was suspended after he was caught forming a sideline wall with several Jets teammates and tripping Miami Dolphins player Nolan Carroll. The Jets were fined $100,000 for the incident, which was labeled a “competitive violation” and a “dangerous” act. “[Sal] played an invaluable role in our success and established what we feel is one of the better strength and conditioning programs in the NFL,” said Tannenbaum.
