Lindsay Lohan Teaches the LAPD the Difference Between Borrowing and Stealing

The LAPD issued a search warrant for Lindsay Lohan after a jewelry store owner saw photos of the actress/parolee wearing the store’s missing $2,500, one-of-a-kind gold necklace. Lohan told friends the charges were “bullshit.” She claimed that the necklace was loaned to her, and that it was a stylist who neglected to give it back to the store in a timely manner. Just before the police were set to investigate her home, the jewelry reappeared. Lindsay claims it was the stylist who returned the item to the LAPD, telling TMZ’s sources, “I didn’t have any part in the non-returning on time.” See, surveillance video of Lindsay Lohan trying on a necklace in a store on January 22 and the piece not being returned until February 2 = borrowing. Anyone else doing that = stealing. Jeez, LAPD, try to keep it straight.
