A bus on its way from Connecticut's Mohegan Sun casino to Manhattan's Chinatown overturned on the New England Thruway in the Bronx this morning, killing 14 of its 33 passengers. The bus reportedly careened out of control, slammed into a guardrail, and flipped over on the side of the road, skidding on its side for about 250 yards before crashing directly into a massive traffic sign. The bus was cut in two by the the sign's steel pole, and its top was sheared off. Passengers crawled out through the emergency window in the back, and more than twenty injured people have been rushed to nearby hospitals. Cops are searching for a tractor-trailer believed to have hit the bus moments before the crash that kept driving.
