Ophadell Williams, the driver of the World Wide Tours bus that crashed in the Bronx on Saturday, killing fourteen people, told police that a tractor-trailer caused the accident by clipping the bus. However, passengers now say that Williams had already swerved to the right at times for no reason, before the accident, and that they didn't feel anything hit them. Witnesses on Interstate 95 said they didn't see the bus get hit, and police spoke to the driver of the tractor-trailer in question, who said he had been following the bus. The National Transportation Safety Board has opened an investigation into the accident. [NYP]
