Newt Gingrich's first self-imposed deadline for deciding whether to run for president was February 2011. On February 1, he reiterated that by the end of February, we'd have his decision. On February 10, Gingrich insisted that "by very early March, you will know something pretty definitive." On March 3, Gingrich announced that he was officially ... exploring the possibility of creating an exploratory committee. And today, March 31, Gingrich declared, "We are trying to finish out the exploratory process, and I think by the first week of May we will have done that." Oh, the anticipation!
