New Jersey's (Republican) secretary of State has ruled that Carl Lewis hasn't lived in the state for four years and is therefore ineligible to run for State Senate. Lewis plans to appeal. As was the case with Rahm Emanuel, the outcome will depend on what, exactly, makes someone a "resident" of New Jersey. Jokes welcome in the comments. [NJ]
