Support for Gay Marriage in New York Hits New High

By

According to a new Siena poll, 58 percent of New York's registered voters support gay marriage — a new high for the poll — compared to only 36 percent who are opposed. Not surprising, the demographic groups who back gay marriage the most are people under 35, people who make over $100,000 a year, and self-described liberals. But even Republicans and the Olds (55-plus) are about evenly split on the issue. [Siena (PDF)]
