The tornado outbreak that hit fourteen states with 241 tornado reports in three days was one of the deadliest outbreaks since 2008 because it hit highly populated cities like Jackson, Mississippi, and Raleigh, North Carolina, where as many as 95 tornadoes devastated the city Saturday.
