Although reports of suspicious packages are typically false alarms — like the 911 call from 43rd and Eighth on Monday that turned out to be a bag of garbage — Police Commissioner Raymond Kelly still wants New Yorkers to keep calling in. "This typically happens at times of heightened awareness. But we don't want to discourage the public," said Kelly. In fact, feel free to follow the 30 Rock admonition, "If you suspect anything, do everything." [AP via ABC News]
