I’ve been eating the Fried Yard Bird on a weekly basis at Red Rooster in Harlem.

In one sentence, what do you actually do all day in your job?
This may come as a surprise to those I don’t work with, but the hour hosting my TV show is when I am talking the least.

What was your first job in New York?
Parking garage auditor for GMC garages, which is a fancy way of saying I counted the number of cars.

What's the last thing you saw on Broadway?
I took my mom to see The Merchant of Venice — she’s a huge Pacino fan.

Do you give money to panhandlers?
Considering how I dress outside of the TV show, they give money to me.

What's your drink?
Soda water with cranberry since college.

How often do you prepare your own meals?
Often. I once shot a pilot for Martha Stewart but they said I was too rough with the food. Apparently I am a violent chef.

Which do you prefer, the old Times Square or the new Times Square?
After doing Fast Money at the NASDAQ for years, I begrudgingly admit that the new Times Square is pretty sweet.

A draft-dodging, race-baiting phony who happens to be right about trade with China.

Who is your mortal enemy?
I am pretty sure the only person trying to kill me is the guy at the Halal food cart on 50th and Sixth, and that is probably more me than him.

This weekend driving upstate to see my mother — I am well known by the State Police as the terror on the Taconic.

How has the Wall Street crash affected you?
Change of work address.

When the smell of urine on the sidewalk no longer bothers you.
