New York Magazine’s John Heilemann appeared on Last Word with Lawrence O’Donnell to again discuss Newt Gingrich’s fast-imploding presidential candidacy. “One of the things that’s happened this week is we’ve realized just how shallow the reservoir of affection and respect is for Newt Gingrich … in the Republican Party,” said Heilemann. And Gingrich’s failures leave … Michelle Bachmann as a viable Republican candidate? Bachmann’s currently reading Heilemann’s book Game Change, of which she had this to say: “Game Change is a book that is very difficult to put down, at least I found it difficult to put down, and it gives a person pause. But the other thing that it does, I think, is it informed me of what I don’t want to do.” But it’s unclear whether Bachmann was referring to a presidential candidacy in that or not.
