As everyone suspected when Republican Jon Huntsman left his post as Obama's ambassador to China, the former Utah governor — and sometimes keyboardist — has filed papers to form a PAC, the first step to take over the house of the man who sent him to China. Politico sees the emergence of Huntsman — and possibly Indiana governor Mitch Daniels — as "a natural pivot point for mainstream Republicans to recapture control of the primary." Unlike some people, Huntsman's aides say he will not be forming an exploratory committee. [WP, Politico]
