MTV head Judy McGrath, the 30-year network veteran who championed shows like Jersey Shore and Teen Mom, stepped down today. Mogulite alleges it's no coincidence that McGrath left the same day as the premiere of a reality show — and pet project of Viacom chairman Sumner Redstone — about a scantily clad electro-pop band called Electric Barbarellas, especially seeing as McGrath almost quit over the same show last year. We can almost see the tagline, "Don't miss the reality show so heinous, it makes execs want to give up their careers!" [Mogulite]
