In case you were wondering (and we actually kind of were), former congressman Anthony Weiner and his wife, Huma Abedin, still dine together. The two shared pasta at La Bottega in Chelsea on Saturday, although onlookers dubiously claim she "looked miserable," and that the two were "chained to their cell phones." After brunch, the couple stopped at Baskin Robbins, where Abedin ordered mint chocolate chip ice cream (and not "misery-and-anger-flavored ice cream," according to pessimistic onlookers, as Baskin Robbins must have been out of it that day) while Weiner opted for plain mocha. When asked how they were doing, Weiner told the Daily News, "We're doing great, thank you." But here's what seems more telling:
The couple, who are expecting their first child, strolled hand in hand through Madison Square Park. He even carried her [sparkly] tan bag at one point.
It's really true: After that scandal, she won't be carrying her own bags for years.
