Bill O’Reilly to Sit Down With Lupe Fiasco

During one of his “Pinheads” segments on The O’Reilly Factor, Bill O’Reilly called out rapper Lupe Fiasco for his comment that, to him, “the biggest terrorist is Obama in the United States of America.” It wasn’t the outrageous statement that got Fiasco labeled as a “pinhead,” but rather the fact that he declined an invitation to come on O’Reilly’s show to talk about it. Unfortunately for Bill, that just wasn’t true. “Whoa! I got invited to the O’reilly facter and turned it down??? Thats news to me,” the rapper tweeted shortly thereafter. “Would NEVER turn down the opp to push billys buttons.” Now, obviously someone from the O’Reilly camp called someone in Fiasco’s camp, the request was denied, and the rapper never heard about it. It’s funny that O’Reilly would have constructed the segment that way: Surely by now he knows how that’s the way these things often work. (Plus, since when does the decision not to enter Bill O’Reilly’s lair to get bullied for half an hour make one a “pinhead”?) Fiasco, to his credit, agreed to go on The Factor next week, which should make for some fine television.
