Obama Appoints Richard Cordray to Consumer Financial Protection Bureau

After dropping Elizabeth Warren, the longtime champion of the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau, President Barack Obama has nominated former Ohio attorney general Richard Cordray to run the agency. Rumors are already sprouting that Warren, who faced fierce opposition from Republicans, could run for Senate in her native Massachusetts against Republican Scott Brown. [USAT]
