Mitt Romney on Guy’s Girlfriend: ‘Nice’

Totally not-weird presidential candidate Mitt Romney toured an elevator company in New Hampshire today and tried to act normal. He talked to kids and guessed the cultural origins of people's names. He was almost being cute! But then:


As Romney began to leave the company after his hourlong visit, he looked at the owner’s girlfriend, Ellen Boss. “Nice,” Romney said as she blushed. “Nice choice. Just like me.”

In the words of David Axelrod: "What's he talking about?" It wasn't ironing, but it was close.
