SNL’s Bill Hader Is Rooting for Herman Cain

Bill Hader.

With the 2012 presidential campaign in full swing, Saturday Night Live's season debut last weekend, which opened with a GOP debate sketch, couldn't come soon enough. So many candidates to skewer, so little time! Last night, at the premiere of 50/50 at the Ziegfeld Theater, we asked SNL's Bill Hader which Republican he hopes will win the nomination, purely from a comedic perspective. "I love Keenan Thompson’s Herman Cain impression where he talks about pizza," Hader told us, "so I would love to see that for comedy purposes." As for who will play Rick Perry on a regular basis — Alec Baldwin took on the role last Saturday — it seems to be up in the air. "I have no clue," Hader told us. "We’ll find out."
