Fox News Rejected Tim Pawlenty

Pretty much every Republican figure who isn't actively running for president is given a job at Fox News if they want one. Except Tim Pawlenty. He tried recently, and Fox News shot him down.


Three weeks after dropping out of the race, Tim Pawlenty showed up to ask for a gig at Fox. But there was a complication: Pawlenty was on the verge of endorsing Romney. “I’m not sure I want to sign you as a paid spokesman for Romney,” Ailes said.

Aw, too bad. That would have been some really exciting television.
