New York's John Heilemann was on Last Word last night to remind everyone that — Florida straw poll results aside — Herman Cain is not going to end up at the head of the GOP race. (Remember how Michele Bachmann took Iowa?) However, that doesn't mean that this weekend's numbers were meaningless. According to Heilemann, while a victory for Mitt Romney or Rick Perry would have indicated that the Republicans finally had a real front-runner, Cain's win shows that the party still has "a lot of doubts" about both candidates. As he told Lawrence O'Donnell, "It tells you what we all have known for a year: This field is a field that is still unsettled."
